Kilate S’hort Petit” – the poetry of its name shimmers in the translation: ‘The carat of the small garden’.
And indeed, she is this precious carat, our shining gemstone: Kilate.
On 12.02.2014, in the picturesque Yeguada S’hears Petit, not far from Palma de Mallorca, Kilate was born. A place where our friends Laura and Loren, with their passion for horses, have already produced numerous jewels of the equestrian world. Loren follows the path of our elegant mare with undiminished dedication. Our deepest thanks go to these outstanding breeders!
With a stately height of 1.59 m and an impressively solid foundation, Kilate moves across the country with ground-covering and elastic strides. Her pedigree is characterized by greatness: Fer Bago, the renowned sire and son of Fer Tempranillo, who in turn carries the blood of the legendary Mañoso II (a descendant of Orfebre – Yeguada Militar). Not forgetting her half-brother Fer Bonachon, who is currently one of the most sought-after young stallions for breeders.
On her dam’s side, other renowned names adorn her pedigree, including Mañoso II, Orfebra and Zereze, also from Yeguada Militar.
In summary, Kilate is an enchanting mare with harmonious grace and a character that touches everyone.
On 28.06.2020 Kilate brought us another joy: Bonjour de Ravella – a filly sired by the talented dressage stallion Poeta de Susaeta. Our hearts are filled with pride!
On 15.06.2022 the irresistible Deseado dés Ravella was born – a colt by the wonderful stallion Post de Susaeta. Wow, we are proud!
We are expecting a foal by Jacomias Cen from Kilate in 2024…we are very excited about this foal
