Philosophy

Fundamentals

We attach great importance to healthy and well-balanced animals that trust their humans and enjoy their work. Daily access to the paddock is also part of their well-being.
Our stallions are housed in boxes with spacious paddocks – geldings and mares are kept in open stables with large paddocks.

Ausbildung

Our philosophy of horse-friendly training according to classical riding theory is highly appreciated by our friends.

We carefully prepare each remonte for its training. Through regular ground work, we gently introduce them to the saddle, bridle and riding. Work in hand (horseman ship) plays a major role in this. In this way, our young horses learn to build up trust in humans at a very early age. This is of great benefit to us in all later tasks on the ground or in the saddle as well as when loading, at the vet, Schmid etc.

We also take our time when breaking in the horses and introduce them gently and carefully to their training. Naturally, the dentist is consulted before the bit is put in for the first time.

When the remote is ready, we ride in small groups in the field and later also alone. We also provide plenty of early competition experience. When the remote is ready, we present the horse at regional competitions to gain initial experience.

Our horses are trained according to the training scale up to the higher classes.

We also offer riding lessons with your own horse at our facility.

Our rider Guillem Barcelo has gained a lot of experience in renowned stables in Germany and Spain.

Feeding

The basis of our feeding is based on lots of roughage – we use straw as bedding.
In the mornings and evenings there is also muesli, black oats and mineral feed – depending on the needs and work of the individual. Our horses also eat carrots, apples, watermelon and mash.

Health maintenance

We attach great importance to healthy horses. The basis for successful treatment is a sound diagnosis by our regional veterinarians.
Based on this, our first choice is always treatment with alternative healing methods. Here we rely on both internal and external therapists who work with homeopathy, acupuncture, phytotherapy, Chinese medicinal herbs and mushrooms as well as physiotherapy and osteopathy in consultation with our vets.
